In 1997, Mrs. Roberta Burkhardt donated to PLT 26 acres off Calamint Hill Road South on the Princeton-Rutland line in memory of her husband, Edgar S. Burkhardt Jr.

The land rolls gently south from the road and is bounded on the west by an impressive stone wall marking the town line and on the east by a wetland bordered by mountain laurel. At it's southern boundary lies an interesting area of broken ledges.
